Dementia Care

Dementia Care

Dementia is a progressive neurological condition that affects memory, thinking, and behavior. At Haulles Mental Health Services, we offer specialized psychiatric care for individuals facing dementia and related cognitive disorders, with a focus on compassion, dignity, and quality of life.

Dementia presents differently in each person but commonly includes memory loss, confusion, personality changes, and difficulty with daily activities. As the condition advances, it can become emotionally and physically taxing for both the individual and their caregivers. Our team provides expert psychiatric evaluations to diagnose and manage Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, frontotemporal dementia, and other forms of cognitive decline.

Treatment may include medications to manage cognitive symptoms or behavioral changes, as well as non-pharmacological interventions to promote comfort and reduce agitation. We carefully tailor each treatment plan based on the individual’s medical history, symptoms, and stage of illness.

Caregiver support is also a key component of our dementia services. We work alongside families to provide guidance, education, and resources for navigating care decisions, communication strategies, and self-care. Our goal is to support not only the patient, but also the people who love and care for them.

At Haulles Mental Health Services, we are dedicated to helping individuals with dementia maintain their dignity, safety, and emotional well-being throughout the course of their illness. You don’t have to walk this journey alone—we are here to help you every step of the way.
